Eleanor Sterling is the true controller of the Sterling Family Trust. Her husband, Alexander Vance, teams up with her best friend Sophia Bennett to fake amnesia, tricking her into signing divorce papers in a bid to seize her entire fortune. Having seen through their scheme long before, Eleanor completes the legal divestment of all high‑value assets prior to the divorce, leaving Vance Group as an empty shell saddled with $1.1 billion in environmental liabilities. Eleanor reclaims her mother’s inheritance and founds Sterling Group. She redevelops the polluted Brooklyn site into a green creative district, closing the chapter on her revenge while achieving personal reinvention and embracing her authentic self.
