Hannah, a reclusive violin prodigy living with PTSD (post-traumatic stress disorder), accidentally stumbles upon Garrett, the ice hockey team captain, completely naked. Faced with failing grades and a suspension from the team, Garrett strikes a fake dating deal with Hannah, who longs to catch the attention of her long-time crush, senior Liam. Through frequent study sessions and social interactions, Garrett’s incredibly restrained, consent-based tenderness gradually melts Hannah’s fear of physical contact. In return, Hannah sees through the vulnerability hidden beneath Garrett’s tough exterior, a result of the relentless pressure and control exerted by his domineering father. When their fake relationship is put to the test of reality, Liam reveals his true hypocritical nature and threatens Hannah by exploiting her traumatic past. The two choose to confront their inner demons head-on, achieving spiritual redemption through mutual devotion and healing.
